LMS receives FAA TSO approval for new digital Fuel Quantity Gauging Designs

(GEORGIA, VT – 1 November, 2016) – Liquid Measurement Systems, Inc. announced today it has received FAA TSO C55a approval for new auxiliary fuel gauging components it has designed and produced for Marshall Aerospace and Defense Group, for use on the extended-range Bombardier Q400 aircraft platform.

The proprietary 8-channel digital signal conditioner and digital cockpit/refuel panel indicator comply with DO-178C, software level “C” requirements and DO-254C hardware requirements. The FAA certification is accepted by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) under 2016’s Reciprocal Acceptance Agreement.
