Steve Pickering has dedicated over 15 years of his career to the aerospace industry, with notable experience in mechanical and project engineering at GE Aviation and AMETEK Aerospace. His expertise includes aircraft fuel gauging, jet engine fuel and oil system design, and the development of key components such as pumps, valves, and sensors. He holds both a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. At LMS, Steve oversees the design integrity of technical products, leads project management and engineering teams, and drives product innovation to align with business goals. Since joining LMS in 2019 and stepping into his current role in 2021, Steve has helped certify systems for high-profile platforms such as the GE T408 engine fuel system and Airbus A350 pressure sensors. Outside of work, he enjoys Vermont’s outdoor activities and playing sports with his family.
